- The city opened heat centers when the freezing cold came in. The city had to open warming centers yesterday as teenage temperatures hit Long Island. Windchill was in the single digits all day and the cold weather comes back in time for the weekend. The heat centers weren’t open until Tuesday, but we can only hope you bring you back to the weekend. This is the coldest air our area has seen in three years. Stay warm out there! - Huntington Police Blotter: 3 cars stolen. Check out the recent arrests in our area from January 2nd to 6th. Three cars were stolen from the house in three days, and in two out of three cases the keys were left in the car. Remember not to leave your keys in the car if you cannot see the vehicle. A man was also arrested for breaking into the Huntington City storage room and stealing landscaping equipment. (Huntington’s Patch)
- Former Impractic Jokers star Joe Gatto is coming to Huntington. Who is looking at impractical jokers here? It was always good for a laugh and a former star Joe Gatto joins The Paramount. the The show is scheduled for February 6th at 7:30 p.m. and you can buy tickets online or at the box office. Gatto said he was committed to his tour regardless of what’s going on with COVID-19. “Obviously, when I was committing to my upcoming series of shows starting in the Midwest this week, I had no idea what life was going to be like right now,” Gatto wrote. “Regardless, we can all use some laughter and kindness now, so I’ll keep all of my appointments.
