14 Wedding companies in Devon are among the best in Britain

When it comes to weddings, it’s no secret that the bride and groom want the very best to make their day a success.

From food, drink, music, photographers and the venue itself, couples want their special day to be remembered for all the right reasons.

And in recognition of those working in the tough wedding industry, Hitched – a global leader in the wedding industry – begins 2022 by announcing the names of the wedding professionals and companies who have won an inaugural Hitched Wedding Award.

The Hitched Wedding Awards recognize the excellence of UK wedding companies and are a trusted seal of approval for couples planning their wedding.

And according to a spokesperson, 83 of the South West’s wedding suppliers were recognized in the awards across all categories, including catering, wedding venues and wedding photographers.

Zoe Burke, Editor at Hitched, says: “Here at Hitched we are delighted to celebrate wedding companies that go above and beyond for their couples.

“It’s been an incredibly difficult few years for our industry so it means so much to us that we can commend these companies and reward and recognize them for their efforts based on the honest feedback from the couples who have worked with them.

“After all, there is no better judge than a happy couple who have seen the vendor’s work first hand.

“We’ve received so many incredible reviews for so many different companies – it’s so positive to see.”

Jose Melo, VP Sales EMEA for The Knot Worldwide Group, owner of Hitched, adds: “This year we are running these awards simultaneously in 13 of the 16 countries where The Knot Worldwide has a presence.
