Cumbria’s Premier Wedding Show comes to Carlisle on February 20th, giving one lucky couple a chance to win £20,000 to spend on their special day.
The Premier Wedding Show, held at Carlisle’s Racehorse, is the brainchild of two local businesswomen, Carol Waggot of Carol’s Bridal Boutique and Carol Milnes of CA Events, promising a day of vendors showing everything from cake tasting, floristry and decoration to wedding jewellery.
Over 40 wedding professionals will attend the event, which will include catwalk shows, expert advice and wedding inspiration.
Engaged couples also get complimentary Prosecco and nibbles while browsing.
The two Carols said: “Having hosted over 250 postponed weddings and events in the last year alone and speaking to clients firsthand, they know the value of being able to speak face-to-face with trusted suppliers on their big day, for reassurance and advice.
“Together we have over 30 years in the wedding and events industry with a drive and passion to raise the profile of the great wedding businesses we have here in this beautiful county and want Cumbria to be the ultimate wedding destination for every bride party.
“It will showcase over 100 wedding dresses, in addition to a £20,000 wedding gift which includes the wedding ceremony, a three course meal, wine and dinner for up to 50 guests, donated by Skitby, wedding dress and bridesmaid from Carol’s Bridal Boutique, groom’s outfit from Goodfellows Menswear, wedding ring voucher from Jopsons Jewelers, car from Cumbria Classic Wedding Cars and much more.”
The event, hosted by StagedRight Managing Director David McNeill, will take place on Sunday 20th February at the popular Carlisle Racecourse.
