A wedding dress shop on a high street in Nottingham is gutted after it was ‘vandalized’ by a car in a crash.
Kathryn Parsons, the owner, insisted that “we are not closed” after the incident at Dream Wedding Dress in Derby Road just after 2pm on Monday 27 December.
The designer wedding boutique has been open since 2009.
Pictures from the scene of the incident, where a vehicle crashed into the store, show workers gutting the building.
It is also understood that the building had to be “supported” due to the significant damage that was caused.
Part of Canning Circus’ one-way system was closed throughout the morning while emergency services worked at the scene. Nottinghamshire Police confirmed no one had been arrested or injured as a result of the crash.
Ms Parsons previously said: “We just have to move on, I don’t want anyone to be worried, anyone who has ordered will not be affected.
“We will settle it and we have not closed.”
