Footballer Andy Carroll reportedly used a Coldplay song at his wedding with Billi Mucklow to reiterate his apology to the TOWIE star over his stag-do antics.
Carroll, 33, threw his big day into serious doubt after he was pictured in Dubai passed out in bed with 27-year old party girl, Taylor Jane Wilkey.
Happily for the former Newcastle United and Liverpool star, however, his innocent plea coupled with Taylor Jane’s insistence that nothing went untoward, convinced Billi, 34, the wedding could go ahead at the Four Seasons in Hampshire as planned.
The groom, who has also represented England, reportedly requested ‘The Scientist’ to be played by a live bad minute after the pair had exchanged vows.
The track begins: “Come up to meet you, tell you I’m sorry/You don’t know how lovely you are/I had to find you, tell you I need you/Tell you I set you apart.”

A source close to the pair told The Sun : “The song was like an open message to Billi from Andy in front of all of their friends and family, it was emotional.
“It is a song that means a lot to them and the words mean even more now that they have managed to get through the recent allegations and come together at the age and finally get married.”
Following tying the knot, the pair partied again on Monday as the hosted a festival-style bashed they named “Carrol Chella”.

Billi swapped the white of her wedding dress for a mini dress of the same color and paired it with silver cowboy boots as she danced away.
She appeared to be loving life as she danced with her new hubby.
He had also ditched his smart attitude and donned a loose-fitting black and white patterned shirt and matching shorts.
He finished off the look with a wide-brimmed black hat.
Following their big day both took to Instagram to share sweet snaps now they are Mr and Mrs.

Shortly after the footballer posted a snap online, reports emerged that guests at Hampshire’s luxurious Four Seasons Hotel sniggered at one point during the happy couple’s service.
During the ceremony the registrar asked the couple’s guests if anyone knew of any reason why the pair shouldn’t tie the knot and reports suggest the congregation giggled after the embarrassing question – with Billi and Andy joining in.
