Britain’s most popular wedding cars revealed – and one costs more than £1,000 to hire for just four hours

BRITAIN’S most popular wedding cars have been revealed – and one costs more than £1,000 to use for just four hours.

With the summer wedding season drawing to an end, happy couples across the country may be thinking back fondly to their special day.

It goes without saying a wedding car is an important part of that perfect day.

The motor not only has to get you to the venue but it also has to get you there in style.

So what are Britain’s most popular wedding cars?

Car leasing company Nationwide Vehicle Contracts found out the top 10 – and exactly how much they cost to hire for four hours.

The Ferrari Portofino is the most expensive car on the list and the most popular overall for newylweds.

The prime Italian motor costs £1,155 for four hours use but is sure to get a happy couple to their wedding in style.

It can go from 0-60mph in a time of 3.5 seconds.

And the rear seats also have an increased legroom giving you plenty of room for your train, making it the perfect and most comfortable wedding car on the market.

Slightly more modern than more traditional wedding cars, it remains popular in the car world.

With 27k Google searches and 18.9M views on TikTok, it is certainly a fan favorite.

Despite holding the coveted number one spot, searches are decreasing 13% year-on-year.

A full-sized luxury saloon, and in its eighth generation, the Rolls-Royce Phantom will cost £525 for four hours.

The motor debuted in 2017, and is the second launched by Rolls-Royce since the BMW takeover.

With a bespoke and personalized interior for the clientele, it’s the ideal car for a wedding.

And although it’s number two, it is in fact the most popular car on Google achieving 17k searches in the past month, with over 169.9M views on TikTok.

Interest in the car however decreased by 5% year-on-year meaning this favorite could be on its way out.

Another Rolls-Royce makes up the top three for popular wedding motors.

The brand is a favorite when it comes to wedding cars, and the Rolls-Royce Ghost is no exception.

It’s a full-sized luxury car, named in honor of the Silver Ghost, a car first produced in 1906.

Costing £630 for 4 hours the Ghost has a beautiful interior design and the rear seats positioned to allow for easier communication.

The car achieved 15k searches every month on Google, with a 22% increase showing the car is growing in popularity and aiming for the number one spot.

It also boasts 236.8M views on TikTok – the most out of all of the cars on the top 10 list.
