Shock when a young woman who has traveled home for a wedding dies from the bus in the fall

A young woman killed in an accident in Co Donegal had returned from the Middle East to attend a friend’s wedding.

Manda Kinsella fell off a bus at around 3:45 p.m. on Friday afternoon in Ardnawark, Barnesmore Gap, outside Donegal Town.

She was hit by a passing car after the fall.

She was on the private bus with a number of people going to an after-wedding party.

Ms. Kinsella, 27 years old, was flown to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin by helicopter but died on Friday evening.

Originally from Co Carlow, she had traveled home for a vacation that included a trip to Donegal for her wedding.

She was known in GAA circles and played football for Irish clubs in Bahrain.

Her local club at Carlow Bennekerry / Tinryland Ladies Football Club paid a moving tribute to Ms. Kinsella.

Club members said they were “heartbroken” over the death of a “beautiful, talented, and truly amazing” person.

In a post on their Facebook page, the club said, “Our Bennekerry Tinryland family and community are deeply saddened and devastated to hear the news of the tragic death of clubmate Amanda Kinsella.

“Our hearts are broken. We can’t describe how beautiful, talented and really amazing she was. We express our deepest condolences to their parents Mono and Patricia and the siblings Aisling and David. A superstar 100 times, we will never forget her. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam. “

Members of a number of Middle Eastern societies, including the Arab Celts and the Clan of Oman, also paid touching tributes to the tragic Amanda.

A spokesman for the Arab Celts said, “Amanda was just a fantastic person on and off the square. Friendly, fun and full of fun and adventure.

“She will be sadly missed by everyone in Bahrain lucky enough to know her.”

A post on the RIP.ie website read: “Amanda is welcomed by her heartbroken parents, sister, brother, partner Brendan Galvin and the Galvin family, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, neighbors, friends, work colleagues in Miss Bahrain and all of your friends in the GAA community. “

Meanwhile, Gardaí continues its investigation into the cause of the tragic incident.

They appeal to anyone who could have seen the collision to report.

All road users who were in the area on Friday afternoon and who may have camera recordings, including a dash cam, are asked to provide them to the Gardaí.

Regardless, a young girl is in critical condition in the hospital after a traffic accident in Co Tipperary last night.

The collision between two cars occurred on Saturday around 11.35 p.m. in Lismaline, Ballingarry, Roscrea.

The male drivers of both cars and their passengers were taken to Limerick University Hospital for treatment for non-life threatening injuries and the child was taken to Temple Street Children’s Hospital in Dublin in critical condition, gardaí said.
