Stolen wedding cards, I-287 fatal crash, church destroyed

Here are some stories that hit the headlines in the Hudson Valley.

Several wedding cards were stolen at a reception at the Diamond Mills Hotel in Saugerties last month. Investigators say 31-year-old Kory Rogers was working on the event when he was hiding the cards in his sweatshirt. He has to appear in court this month.

All lanes on I-287 are reopened after two people were killed in a car accident. Five cars were involved in Thursday’s incident, including a dump truck with a cement mixer. Two other people were injured.

A surveillance video shows a man accused of causing thousands of dollars in damage to a church in Spring Valley. According to police, the man destroyed numerous objects and statues in the Church of St. Joseph. Anyone who recognizes him or has information is encouraged to contact the Spring Valley Police Department.
