CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – On Friday, West Virginia Governor Jim Justice announced a new round of the West Virginia Vaccination Incentive Program: “Do It For BabyDog: Save A Life. Change your life. “

Prizes to be won for COVID-19 vaccinated individuals include luxury cars, ATVs, side by side, a custom fishing boat, money for a dream wedding, free gasoline for 10 years, season ticket packages for WVU and / or Marshall Sports, and season ski lift tickets.

Governor Justice announced on Friday that the first drawing would take place on August 31st.

Registration starts on Monday, August 23rd.

Governor Justice says the prize draws will be held every Tuesday for the next six weeks.

Those previously registered in the first West Virginia Vaccination Sweepstakes will need to re-register to qualify for the new prizes.

Governor Justice estimated during his press conference on COVID-19 on Friday that the next round of the vaccination incentive program would cost approximately six to eight million dollars.

“We have the money and we’re talking to all sorts of different companies that will deliver the stuff,” said Gov. Justice. “It is a shame to think that we have to do something to incentivize people to get vaccinated so that they can save their life or that of their family or friends. It’s a shame to think we have to do it, but we’re doing everything we can to get people across the finish line. “
