One bride walked on her feet and asked strangers to bring her to her wedding.
Shenice Beirne, 28, was on her way to her venue when the classic Beauford she was renting broke down on the side of a country road, according to South West News Service – a UK news agency.
She told the news agency that she borrowed her chauffeur’s phone and called a couple of taxi companies, but she had no luck getting a car sent to her location.

“I don’t think they believed it was my wedding day,” she said in an interview with SWNS.
Eventually, Beirne, her sister, and her mother decided to hitchhike as they were 25 minutes from their church. A round-trip trip from the car that dropped Beirne’s bridesmaids off would take nearly an hour, Beirne told SWNS.
The trio reportedly waved off passing cars on the back streets of Gloucester for 10 to 15 minutes before a couple stopped and asked if they needed help.

Matt and Michelle Moore, 44, agreed to take the women’s group to their location for the ceremony, St. Barnabas Church.
Beirne and her family made sure they took a picture with the Moores when they finally got to their location.
“I’m just glad I managed to stay calm and not be stressed out or that would have ruined the rest of my day,” Beirne told SWNS as she recalled her wedding, which was on July 8, 2021 took place.

Beirne and her husband married an hour later than expected and their classic car rental was fixed in time to take them to their reception in Upton upon Severn, a small town in the Malvern Hills district of Worcestershire, England.
Beirne shared a Facebook post on Wednesday, August 11th describing how their wedding day was saved by Matt and Michelle.

Two days after Beirne’s post went viral, she announced to her friends and followers that she found the couple on social media.
“It was a pleasure to help you on your big day,” wrote Michelle in response.
The newlyweds are preparing for their belated honeymoon in Lanzarote, Spain, according to SWNS.
