One spectator who refused to be named said: “There were some nice cars in town today, but they caused total chaos.”
Today was the final day of the Salon Privé luxury car festival, a five-day event at Blenheim Palace.
Dozens of supercars came to Blenheim for the Classic and Supercar Show – better known as Supercar Sunday – with the best cars money can buy parked on the lawns in front of the Woodstock mansion.
In its 16th year, the Salon Privé describes itself as “the most exclusive automobile event in Great Britain”. A number of luxury car makers, including Range Rover and Mclaren, launched new models on the first day of the festival.
Motorsport legend David Piper was reunited with the GTO sports car he drove in France and South Africa in 1962.
