IN PICTURES: Derry & Strabane Mayor Supercar Sunday in aid of the Foyle Down Syndrome Trust

The event took place on Sunday, October 3, and car enthusiasts Gary McCaul and Keith Gamble brought supercars like Lamborghinis, Ferrari and McLarens along with American muscle cars like Corvette and the Ford Mustang to Guildhall Square and Harbor Square for the Public could get them up close with these incredible machines.

Mayor Warke hosted the special event to raise funds for his mayor’s charity, the Foyle Down Syndrome Trust, and attendees were invited that day to donate to the charity, helping children and adolescents with Down syndrome from birth supports and strengthens up to adulthood.

The event was a huge success, raising £ 4104.20 for the Foyle Down Syndrome Trust.

Mayor Warke described the day as “fantastic”.

“Thanks to everyone who helped put this event together for the benefit of my Mayor’s Foyle Down Syndrome Trust,” he said.
