A grieving bride, whose fiancée was killed in a horror crash on her wedding day, wore her wedding dress heartbreakingly to say goodbye to him “one last time” before his funeral.
Myles ‘Miley’ Harty, 20, of Askeaton, Limerick, died in a car accident just hours before he was due to marry his lover, Kate Quilligan, of Thomasgate, also in Limerick.
Mr Harty died instantly when the car he was in the passenger seat hit a post at around 1am in Cragmore on Askeaton to Rathkeale Road.
A teenager who Gardaí believed was driving the car was arrested by Gardaí on suspicion of a criminal offense under the Road Traffic Act.
He has now been released without charge.

A third man, sitting in the back seat of the car, a silver Skoda hatchback, was rushed to Limerick University Hospital with “non-life threatening” injuries by ambulance.
Yesterday, Mr. Harty’s fiancée, family, and loved ones buried him after a memorial service at St. Mary’s Church in Askeaton.
Kate had sworn on a social media post that they are now husband and wife.
One video showed a grieving Kate, flanked by her parents, wearing her wedding gown and attire and holding her wedding bouquet in front of a house with a photo of Myles behind her.
Her father said to the camera, “Myles, this is all Kate wanted all of her life, Miley Harty. She’s got dressed and is going inside you one last time. ”Then he says,“ Miley, I’ll never forget you, you’re the boss ”as he leans over to kiss Kate.
Heartbroken Kate admitted that yesterday was “the toughest day of my life”.
She paid tribute to her “brownie” and wrote: “Today is the hardest day of my life, but I know that you are with me every step of the way. I just really hope that you know what I thought of you. “

Regarding road safety in general, he said to the mourners: “I would like to appeal to our young people, because accidents are avoidable; Cars are a wonderful gift, a great convenience, but they are also a deadly weapon.
“I am sure that many of us would ask here to be aware of the danger to ourselves and others when driving – you are too important to us to lose you.”
Gardai, who is investigating the fatal accident, has requested witnesses and all dash cam footage from vehicles on the R518 Askeaton to Rathkeale road.
