An Isle of Wight resident has won £ 30,000 thanks to his lucky zip code – and he intends to use the money to marry his longtime girlfriend.

Cameron first found out about his win during a video call with Lottery Ambassador Matt Johnson. When he saw his price check he said:
“Impressive. That’s amazing. Words fail me.”
Cameron immediately knew what he wanted to spend his winnings on:
“My longtime friend. I think it’s time to officially make her my wife! “
“She is American and currently in San Diego. We’ve been childhood friends since we were about eight years old. We were separated for about 15 years and met again in 2018. “
When asked if he had any plans for the proposal, Cameron said, “Not yet, but this money will help him!”
Cameron has to travel a lot because of his work, but was thrilled that a zip code from his parents’ house had given him a prize:
“I grew up in the village and Bembridge has always been our home. I live just down the street from my parents’ house, so it’s perfect for me. “
Aside from his suggestion plans, Cameron wasn’t sure how he would spend the rest of his winnings, but he had an idea:
“I’m into cars, so maybe I’ll buy a new one. I will definitely have a few drinks tonight! “
