Nick Percat with his dog Nelson on the Gold Coast
Two happy motorsport fans will be treated to an immersive experience at this year’s Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 thanks to a competition organized by R&J Batteries.
Colloquially known as the “Concrete Canyon”, the Surfers Paradise Street Circuit has long been a popular fixture on the Supercars Championship calendar.
After a forced absence of COVID-19 from the 2020 schedule, the Gold Coast event returns this year as the season finale from December 3rd to 5th.
Run by R&J Batteries in partnership with Speedcafe.com and Brad Jones Racing, the competition is a straightforward entry process that runs until 11:59 p.m. AEST on Sunday, August 22nd.
A winner will be selected at random and notified accordingly and announced on the R&J Batteries Facebook page.
The price is a complete event package for two, including general admission tickets for all three days en route, three nights of accommodation, and round-trip airfare from the nearest Australian capital.
Also includes a pit tour, two race merchandise packages and a meet and greet opportunity with R&J Batteries sponsored BJR driver Nick Percat.
Percat is a four-time Supercars Championship winner in a career that made headlines by winning his first start at the Bathurst 1000 in 2011 in combination with Garth Tander and the Holden Racing Team.
He has been a regular on the grid at Walkinshaw Racing, Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport and Brad Jones Racing since 2014, with whom he has signed for the next year and beyond.
