The Audi R8 is one of the most famous sports cars ever launched. One of the reasons for this is the coupe’s never-aging design and the other is that it was driven by Tony Stark in Iron Man. Since then everyone has known the R8 and has a weakness for it. Unfortunately, the Audi R8 was discontinued in India. It was one of the most affordable supercars that had immense street presence and exhilarating performance. Now some of them have hit the second hand market, which means that you can also enjoy the R8 experience at a much cheaper price than the original price.
Here are two Audi R8s currently for sale in the used car market, selling for less than a Toyota Fortuner SUV. Both R8s on our list are manufactured in 2009 and are currently on sale. They are priced under Rs. 45 lakhs, which is pretty impressive as a new Toyota Fortuner, would cost around Rs in the end. 46 lakhs for the top-end variant. While the R8 would be cheaper to buy than the Fortuner, it would be very expensive to have an R8 serviced in your garage. Being a discontinued supercar means it needs special care and maintenance and it is difficult to find replacement parts. However, the screaming soundtrack and street presence that the R8 will provide is much more than what you can get from a Fortuner. The Fortuner is very common on roads today, while the exclusivity of the R8 is just something else.
The R8 we’re testing today is powered by a 4.2 liter naturally aspirated V8 petrol engine. The engine generates a maximum output of 423 hp and a maximum torque of 430 Nm. The engine is equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission that transfers power to all four wheels via Audi’s legendary Quattro all-wheel drive.
2010 Audi R8 20,000 km
The first on our list has traveled 20,000 km and is still a first-owner vehicle which is pretty impressive. The vehicle is registered in Tamil Nadu and the advertisement says the NOC will be provided directly to the buyer. The advertisement says that the R8’s service history is also available. The vehicle here is bright red, which really comes into its own when the lighting conditions are appropriate. The side blades of the R8 and the light alloy wheels are painted black. The combination of black and red looks pretty good on the R8. The cabin of this R8 is painted black. The seller is asking for Rs. 41.5 lakhs and you can contact them by clicking here.
2009 Audi R8 20,000 km
The second R8 is painted black on the outside and red on the inside. This has traveled 20,000 km and is a third-party vehicle. The completely black paintwork gives the R8 a very stealthy look. The vehicle is registered in Maharashtra and comes with a stylish license plate. In the pictures the vehicle looks in good condition. However, when purchasing a sports car, it is a good idea to have a personal inspection. The seller asks Rs. 44.99 lakhs and you can get in touch with them by clicking here.
