Flex alert: Mixed message on charging electric cars – Santa Cruz Sentinel

Did you see? Anticipating hot weather, the California ISO (the folks in charge of our power grid) asked us not to charge electric cars between 4 and 9 pm over the Labor Day weekend.

Funny. To save the planet, Democrats in Sacramento recently dictated that all Californians must buy electric vehicles by 2035. Unless the wind blows all the time and the sun shines 24 hours a day, not hard to imagine that California’s Green Energy Grid by will be weaker then than now.
I’m not worried, by 2035 everyone should have gasoline powered generators to charge their “emission-free” cars.
