INVERCLYDE MP praised a travel company for fixing a bug affecting electric car drivers in Gourock.
Ronnie Cowan received calls from citizens telling him that a fast charging station at the train station was defective.
Mr. Cowan contacted ScotRail to alert them in late June and repairs were completed last week.
The MP says that in Scotland’s transition to net zero emissions it is important that the right infrastructure is in place.
He recently had discussions with ChargePlace Scotland, Tesla and Scottish Power Energy Networks about electric vehicles and battery storage.
Mr. Cowan added, “I hope to see more electric vehicles on our roads and the necessary infrastructure in Inverclyde.
“Trust in electric vehicles continues to grow and road users need to be sure that the charging points are fully functional.”
