Everyone is looking forward to their big day, but not everyone imagines their wedding to be exactly the same. Michigan wedding photographer Cassidy Lynne posted footage of a client’s ceremony on Instagram. Instead of formal attire, the happy newlyweds dressed in tracksuits for their reception. You wouldn’t think it was that big of a deal while the couple were happy. However, the bohemian looks sparked a debate about an appropriate wedding dress code.

“I love it when couples say they have tradition and find unique and fun ways to show off their personality on their wedding day and start new trends of their own! I anticipate jogging suits will be an up and coming trend this year and I’m HERE FOR YOU, ”wrote Cassidy Lynne in the caption.

The video received over 18 million views and people had a lot of thoughts.

“This trend is a no for me. All of your guests are in fancy clothes, but here you are in sweats. It’s inconsiderate to me, ”said one person.

“Personally, that would be my worst nightmare. I’m so excited to be a princess, ”wrote another.

“Let’s normalize that we wear whatever we want to weddings, nobody wants to spend thousands on a dress that they only wear once,” someone said.

“I wish I had thought of that!” a user replied.
