A hidden gem set in 165 acres has been named one of the UK’s top 10 most popular wedding venues.
The Oak Tree of Peover in Knutsford offers breathtaking views of the Cheshire countryside and prides itself on providing a unique level of personalized service.
The staff at the family run venue go out of their way to create precious memories the moment they meet each couple.

Deputy Manager Chloe Rensch said: “We are a really small team. It’s nice to do the entire trip with couples, from sightseeing to planning.
“We are always available for questions. We all know the details of every wedding.

The Peover Oak is hosting a wedding fair on Saturday October 2nd from 12pm to 4pm. There is no need to book.
The former golf club was converted into a wedding location seven years ago when Jacquie Mooney and her brother Jay took over the reins after father Peter retired.

The rustic, oak-framed barn-style ambience has been hailed as one of the best in the country by Hitched, the UK’s premier wedding planning destination.
“It’s great to have a big company like this recognizing our small independent venue,” said Chloe.
“It really means a lot to us.”

Everyone in hospitality is so relieved, she said, to be able to host weddings again after the pandemic.
“It’s been the toughest year we’ve ever had,” said Chloe. “We had to postpone over 100 weddings, it was a nightmare.

“2020 should have been our busiest year ever. There should have been 120 weddings. A woman had to postpone her wedding six times.
“It’s been awful for couples, but it’s nice to see everyone have a great time again.”
Many couples had to change their dates multiple times as coronavirus restrictions kept changing.
“We did our best to accommodate everyone,” said Chloe.
“People have been really flexible and so grateful that they can finally have the wedding they want.”

Couples have full use of the estate and the option of getting married in the ladybug room or in an outdoor pavilion.
“We’re an exclusive venue, we only have one wedding at a time,” said Chloe. “We’ll focus on this couple and their guests for the day.”
Couples have a choice of six handpicked local caterers and can choose their own florists, photographers, cars, and venue dressers.

“There are many options for eating,” said Chloe. “You can have a traditional three course meal, barbecue, pizza, tapas or whatever you wish.
“We can arrange tastings for you to choose.”
The reception suite is adorned with magical strings of lights around the beams, with rustic foliage spiraling up to the ceiling.
Fireplaces can be lit in winter and fire pits create a warm, cozy atmosphere in the barn all year round.
The venue can accommodate up to 108 seats and 180 in the evening.
The staff do everything they can to make every celebration special.
“Every wedding is different,” said Chloe. “For me personally, it’s the details that are in there.
“I love the little individual things that happen during the day.
“It’s wonderful to see everyone is having a great time.”
