Eden Vauxhall offers electric replacement vehicles to increase awareness of electric vehicles

One of the most established Vauxhall dealership groups in the UK aims to promote the brand’s class-leading electric models by replacing the brand’s fleet of replacement vehicles with all-electric models.

Customers who bring their cars to Eden Vauxhall dealerships for service in Banbury, Bracknell, Branksome, Camberley, Christchurch, Exeter, Fareham, Honiton, Newbury, Oxford, Reading, Swindon or Torbay will be offered a new Corsa-E as a replacement vehicle, when they have their own vehicle serviced or repaired.

The move aims to interest and educate drivers who normally did not think of an electric vehicle by showing how useful and flexible the Corsa-E is in everyday use and dispelling the myths about electric vehicles, range fears and ease of use.

Customers are allowed to take the Corsa-E home with them while their own Opel (or other model) is serviced or repaired, with the vehicle fully charged when leaving the dealership for a range of 209 miles between charges.

The 100% electric motor enables effortless acceleration, glides from 0 to 100 km / h in just 7.6 seconds and immediately reaches a torque of 260 Nm. When driving in “B mode”, the regenerative braking system returns most of the braking energy to the battery and thus helps to reserve your range.

There is also a choice of driving modes. Increase the fun with the sport mode or switch to the eco mode and increase your range. And with no noise or tailpipe emissions, it’s a cleaner ride that’s better for the environment.

James Kurd, Eden Operations Director, said, “We have seen a tremendous surge in interest in electric cars over the past few months, especially since the recent gas station shortage that made customers think about switching.

“At Eden Motor Group, we want to help our loyal customers choose the right car and this initiative allows them to test an electric car completely free of charge to decide whether an electric vehicle is the right choice or not for them in a totally pressureless environment. It will also help us reduce the exhaust emissions from our fleet of replacement vehicles across our entire Vauxhall network. ”

The Corsa-E is new on-the-go in all 13 Vauxhall Eden outlets at a cost of £ 26,390 (including government electric car grants). For additional security, the Corsa-e also offers an 8-year battery guarantee and breakdown assistance free of charge.
