Gogglebox’s Ellie Warner discussed about her and Nat Eddleston’s wedding plans as she returned to the popular TV show following her boyfriend’s horror car crash.
The TV star, 31, returned to screens on Friday after she took a two-month break from filming alongside her sister Izzi after Nat was involved in a crash that left him with severe brain injuries.
And Ellie appeared in good spirits as she joked about her and Nat’s wedding plans and got her partner on the phone as she chatted with her sister in their home.

She explained she had asked Nat what type of wedding he wanted, to which he replied a shotgun wedding, when nuptials are hastily arranged after a pregnancy.
Ellie told her sister Izzi: ‘I said to Nat this morning, when we get married what type of wedding do you want? And he went: “A shotgun wedding!”
‘So I said “ooo does that mean you want me to be pregnant before we get married?” and he said “no”.’
Ellie admitted she wanted to know what her beau thought a shotgun wedding was and decided to call him to hear his thoughts.

On the phone, she asked him: ‘Nat? Do you know when you said about a shotgun wedding this morning? Do you actually know – what did you think a shotgun wedding meant?’
To which he responded: ‘When you’re forced to get married.’
An amused Izzi laughed before joking: ‘The bride has a shotgun!’
When Ellie asked him the reason for the ‘forced’ wedding, Nat replied: ‘Cos you’ve got someone pregnant.’

Ellie expressed her shock that he did know what it meant before she quipped: ‘So does that mean you’re going to get me pregnant?’
To which Nat replied ‘no’, prompting Ellie and Izzi to descend into laughter.
It comes after Ellie took to Instagram earlier in the day to confirm that she was returning to the popular TV show for the first time in two months after Nat’s accident.
Nat was said to be on life support after suffering collapsed lungs and a broken neck in the horrific car crash which happened in the Halton area of Leeds on March 19.

On Friday afternoon, Ellie shared a beaming snap with Izzi and told how she would be back on screens on Friday night and thanked her fans for their support.
She penned: ‘Looking forward to getting back on your screens tonight! Thank you for all the well wishes, we are really grateful that things are getting back to normal.’
Within minutes of sharing her first Instagram update in weeks, Ellie was inundated with supportive messages from Gogglebox fans who were happy she was back.
Fellow Gogglebox co-star Sophie Sandiford was one of the many to comment underneath Ellie’s update, writing: ‘Great to see you both back!! xxxxx’

Earlier this month it was reported that Ellie is facing an ‘uncertain future’ amid the ‘pain and anguish’ of her boyfriend’s brain injury, according to one charity.
It came after Ellie took to Facebook and asked her friends and followers for a donation to brain injury charity Headway.
The charity then responded by offering its support to Ellie and Nat, and their loved ones.

Luke Griggs, Deputy Chief Executive of Headway, told The Sun: ‘We understand the pain and anguish of sitting by the hospital bedside of a loved one following a brain injury. Often the concern around their current condition is compounded by uncertainty over what the future may hold.
‘We are extremely grateful that Ellie is supporting the charity in this way, but more importantly we want to ensure she avails herself of the support we provide to families and partners, as well as brain injury survivors.
‘The immediate aftermath of a brain injury can be a daunting and frightening place and we want to ensure nobody has to face it alone.’
The TV personality said the charity’s mission ‘means a lot’ to her, noting they help to promote understanding of brain injuries and support and services for people affected.

Ellie had taken a temporary leave of absence from the hugely popular show in order to care for Nat.
She has reportedly been paid her show fee in full.
According to The Sun, producers had told Ellie to take all the time she needs and have kept her monthly £1,500 per household payment.

A source told the publication: ‘Bosses paid Ellie her full fee for the show – they didn’t want her or Izzi worrying about money.
‘Of course they’ve honored the payments – they take duty of care very seriously on the show.’
MailOnline contacted Channel 4 for comment at the time.
Ellie has not featured since the incident until tonight and is understood to be devoting her time to supporting Nat while he recovers in hospital.
A source told The Sun: ‘Ellie’s focus, 100 per cent, is on Nat and supporting him in his recovery.
‘She’s been told to take as much time off as she needs and it is very unlikely she will be returning during the current series. Producers have told her to take as long as she needs.’
Ellie is said to have ‘barely left’ her partner’s bedside as he remains in critical condition following the crash two months ago.

A friend told The Sun: ‘Her heart is totally ripped in two by all of this and she is still in a state of shock about how things have ended up. Right now all that Ellie is focusing on is making sure she is there for Nat .’
In a statement to Leeds Live after the crash, a spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: ‘The pedestrian remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital and inquiries into the incident are ongoing.’
West Yorkshire Police recently said there are no updates and that their investigations are ongoing.
A picture emerged last month of the shocking crash, showing West Yorkshire Police at the scene of the serious collision as Nat was attended to by paramedics.
A family member told The Sun on Sunday after the incident: ‘Nat is in intensive care with a broken neck, broken back, two collapsed lungs and possible brain damage.
‘He is on a life support machine and all the family and Ellie are obviously very worried for him.’
