Highway Thrills: Why are supercars racing over Arunachal?

Pasighat in the East Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh became the talk of the town after dozens of supercars pulled up in the land of the mighty Siang on Thursday.

Popular supercars like Lamborghini, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Audi, Honda, and Porche, to name a few, have been seen hurtling through the city streets. Several locals line up on the streets to take a look at the fast-paced spectacle.

Prime Minister Pema Khandu also took to Twitter to greet the supercars’ arrival and to brag about the state’s road quality.

Cars have reportedly arrived for an event scheduled for September 19. However, more details about the event are still awaited.

Some of the cars belong to Gautam Singhania, Chairman and Managing Director of The Raymond Ltd., who is reportedly on vacation with friends.
