Joel and Ronah started dating during last year’s lockdown, and in April 2021 he proposed marriage to her in front of her family and friends.

A few days later, the couple decided to walk down the aisle.

On their wedding day, Dad hadn’t bought any shoes for the occasion and luckily a friend had sorted him out.

Even so, on his special day, Joel was forced to pick up his parents from the airport. They were arriving from Kenya and were stranded at the airport after the person who was supposed to pick them up did not show up.

The cars the couple had rented didn’t show up and luckily they got some vehicles for their wedding.

“I was a little scared, but the presence of my parents really motivated me. I remember collapsing when I was told an hour before the wedding that the cars were not coming. My father encouraged me to cry. I will feel better afterwards, “said the groom to my wedding.
