Die-hard motorsport fans watch out! If you’ve always wanted to experience the thrill of driving a souped-up supercar, now is your chance.
The Merlin Darwin Triple Crown, which runs from June 18-20, 2021, gives one lucky racing fan the opportunity to drive a shotgun with Supercars driver David Reynolds in the Hidden Valley as part of a new “Be in it to win it” competition . In addition, the winner can enjoy a course car ride and the grid walk on the weekend.
To enter, all you need to do is purchase a ticket for the 2021 event before 11:59 p.m. ACST on Sunday June 13th. If you have already bought your ticket, you are still eligible.
The lucky winner will be announced on Monday, June 14th at 4:00 p.m. CEST on the Darwin Supercars Facebook page, the hot round will take place on Friday, June 18 at 3:30 p.m. CEST.
The “Be in it to win it” competition was designed to give territories and visitors the chance to win after the organizers recently hosted a national-level competition where one lucky Interstater won the ultimate Supercars fan experience .
Thanks to the event’s namesake, Merlin and the Darwin Triple Crown, Melanie Upham from Western Australia will enjoy an incredible prize package for two, including round-trip airfare, accommodation, a hot lap in a supercar, a pillion ride on a superbike, a start line experience for the Aeroflow Nitro Funny Cars, a Supercars Grid Walk and merchandise.
In addition, the lucky motorsport fans have access to their own Merlin Garage in the pit lane, which is the ultimate supercars base with big screens, snacks, comfortable chairs and more – the best places in the house for all the pit action.
