PHOTOS: Sensational supercars return to stun the Frinton sailors

PETROLHEADS were in their element over the weekend after hordes of stunning supercars once again moved to a coastal city.

Members of the Driver’s Union impressed shoppers, locals and day-trippers alike when they parked in Frinton on Sunday.

The endless line of flashy and expensive engines consisted of Porches, Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Audis, McLarens and Aston Martins.

The residents were amazed at the accumulation of fast four-wheel drive vehicles that drove through Connaught Avenue before parking by the sea.

Some locals even spoke to the owners about their valuable gasoline-powered possessions worth up to £ 100,000, if not more.

Kirby Cross photographer Robert Smith attended the event and made a catalog of spectacular images of the amazing supercars.

The 32-year-old said, “It was a great day and so good to get back to normal with events like this and people loved seeing the cars and most of them did.

“As a photographer, it’s great because you can wait a long time to see just one car like this, but to see so many, you don’t know which one to photograph next.

“My favorite cars were the Aston Martins on display.”
