Porsche and Manthey-Racing helped develop the 911 GT2 RS Clubsport 25. This track-based supercar celebrates the division’s 25th anniversary. The 700 hp coupé is based on the standard 911 GT2 RS Clubsport, but differs from it in terms of newly designed aerodynamics, new colors and a different cooling system. In total, only 30 such super sports cars will be built at a price of 525,000 euros.

The new car differs from the dispenser in that it has a different front apron and a new front trunk lid made of carbon. Both elements have newly designed air inlets for improved cooling of the components, reduced air resistance and increased downforce on the front axle.
Porsche engineers moved the main radiator to the center and removed the radiators in the front fenders. This also required a redesign of the front end. In addition, the coupé was equipped with a massive fender with flat panels on the underside, as well as a new exhaust and original head optics. The exterior color is a nod to the traditional Manthey racing color. The chassis modifications were combined with 18-inch wheels from the current racing Porsche 935. The steering of the new car also comes from the Porsche 935.

The Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport 25 is equipped with a 3.8 liter boxer engine (700 hp) and a seven-speed robot transmission. The dynamic properties of the supercar were not shown.
Manthey-Racing GmbH was founded in 1996 and has been 51% owned by Porsche since 2013. The company acts as a kind of racing division of the Stuttgart brand. Manthe-Racing also supplies Porsche with retrofit sports car components. In June of this year, the Porsche 911 GT2 modified in Manthey became the Nürburgring’s absolute record holder among road vehicles.

The two companies have been closely linked since 2013. With the unique 911 GT2 RS Clubsport 25 special edition, this successful partnership has taken the next level, ”explains Matthias Scholz, Director GT Racing Cars.
