Prince Harry and Meghan Markle put an intimate wedding memorabilia on display at home

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry revealed that they were hosting an intimate (unofficial) wedding ceremony before their real big day on theirs All in all, an interview with Oprah Winfrey on Sunday, and the Duchess of Sussex also announced that they have now made the vows at their home.

Speaking to Oprah, Meghan announced that three days before her legal marriage on May 19, 2018, they had a private “union” in their “backyard” hosted by Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby.

To commemorate that day, the Duke and Duchess have now framed and displayed their vows at their Montecito home, where they live with their one-year-old son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

The public event was certainly just as special for the couple, but it makes sense that they wanted an intimate moment between just the two of them.

When they said “I do” at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, an estimated 27.7 million people tuned in to watch TV from the UK, while 29 million viewers were from the US, and that doesn’t include the royal fans who took to the streets to see the moment in real life.

Overall, the global audience was believed to be hundreds of millions.

The guest list featured much of Prince Harry’s family, including his grandparents, the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh, his father, Prince Charles, and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall.

Harry’s brother, the Duke of Cambridge, and his wife, the Duchess, also showed up just three weeks after greeting their youngest son, Prince Louis. Her two eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, took on the roles of page and bridesmaid.
