MS Dhoni and Ms. Sakshi recently celebrated 11 years of marital bliss. The gorgeous couple tied the knot on July 4th, 2010. On Sunday, the former Indian cricket skipper celebrated his wedding anniversary by giving his wife a stunning classic car. Dhoni and his love for automobiles are no secret. He continues to add rare models of cars and motorcycles to his enviable collection of engines.
This time, the Ranchi-born superstar decided to give Sakshi a vintage Volkswagen Beetle. The beetle is in two-tone blue and white tones and has been flawlessly restored. The car is parked around the huge garden in front of Dhoni’s villa. Sakshi shared a picture of the car, thanked Dhoni for the gift and wrote “Thanks for the anniversary gift” on her Instagram stories.
Dhoni, a big automobile enthusiast, owns a mega-garage big enough to house all of his luxury cars and bikes. Interestingly, Dhoni drives his cars around his huge estate in Ranchi, where he lives with the family. The vehicles do not come out of his possession that often and are rarely spotted on the road.
Outside the field, everything revolves around travel and family for the three-time World Cup captain. He leads a peaceful life before the Indian Premier League (IPL) resumes in the UAE in September. The 39-year-old vacationed in the scenic areas of Himachal last month. He was accompanied by Sakshi and her daughter Ziva. Sakshi updated her Instagram handle with lovely clippings from her family vacation.
Dhoni, who retired from all forms of international cricket on August 15, 2020, is considered one of the most decorated captains in the country. Recently batsman KL Rahul said in a conversation with Forbes India: “Yes, he (Dhoni) has won a lot of tournaments, done amazing things for the country, but I think the greatest achievement you can have as a captain is the respect of your teammates and each of us would take a bullet for him without thinking about it. “
