A groom does not tell the bride that the groom became a wedding photographer 10 years after he was stopped on the hit TV show.
John Clark married his wife Jackie on May 27, 2011 in one of the series’ most popular episodes.
With £ 12,000 in his pocket, the 39-year-old booked a skydive for 40-year-old Jackie ahead of her fairy tale ceremony at Strathallan Castle in Perthshire.
This was followed by a Christmas reception at John’s popular meeting place, the Kirkintilloch Miners’ Club.

As a nod to Jackie’s desire to have a nose job, the wedding cake was shaped like a nose.
Almost a decade later, John of Kirkintilloch, East Dunbartonshire took his love of weddings even further by becoming a wedding photographer.
Trying out in nightclub photography and sharing some snaps on social media resulted in John being asked to photograph a trailer’s wedding and the rest he says is history.

He told the record, “I absolutely love my job.
“It’s the best job I’ve ever done.
“Leaving my old job was nerve-wracking, but it was worth it.
“I love meeting new people, being part of their special occasions and creating memories for them.
“I have had more rewarding feedback from clients now than in 13 years in social work.”
John hadn’t even suggested supporting worker Jackie when the couple watched an episode of Don’t Tell the Bride on Valentine’s Day 2011.

After Jackie joked about applying for the show, she submitted an application shortly thereafter.
Three months later, the lovebirds said “I do” in front of the camera at a wedding planned entirely by John.
TV crews followed Jackie on her humble hen party in Glasgow, while John and his team from Hirschen went to Berlin for a full weekend.
“It’s still the best decision we’ve ever made,” added John.
“The response at the time was amazing, our episode was trending on Twitter.
“It was really a perfect day.”
With Scotland still firmly in the grip of the coronavirus, John and Jackie have so far made no plans to mark 10 years as a married couple.
They banned Dexter, eight, Felix, five and four-year-old Andi with their three children.
“Jackie was supposed to be going to Ibiza with her friends for the 40th time last year,” added John.
“That was postponed to our May, over our anniversary.
“So if she is allowed to leave, all the celebrations will have to wait until she gets home.
“When it comes to wedding tips, Jackie is always right!”
