Ex-NFL player fatally shot SC doctor, four others: police
Former professional soccer player Phillip Adams fatally shot and killed a prominent South Carolina doctor, his wife, two grandchildren and another man on Thursday, before killing himself in his home a short distance away, according to authorities. A sixth victim was wounded and taken to hospital. Adams, who left the National Football League more than five years ago, was found dead Wednesday after the murders of five people at Dr. Robert Lesslie found dead in the suburbs of Rock Hill, South Carolina.
