The royal bride amazes shoppers as she walks down the busy main street

It’s not often that royal brides show up on busy shopping streets before their wedding.

But that’s exactly what Flora Ogilvy, the granddaughter of the Queen’s cousin, Princess Alexandra, did before celebrating her wedding to husband Timothy Vesterberg.

Flora, 26, was pictured upon arrival at St. James’ Church in London’s Piccadilly in a stunning white sweetheart neckline wedding dress designed by Phillipa Lepley, paired with a beaded tiara.

When she got out of the car, her parents James and Julia Ogilvy and her brother Alexander Ogilvy helped her.

Flora had tied the knot with Timothy, a former professional ice hockey player, last October during a private ceremony at the Chapel Royal in St. James’s Palace.

However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the number of guests they could invite was limited.

Hence, the ceremony held in central London last Friday was a wedding blessing to which they could invite more guests.

Among them were Prince Edward and Sophie Wessex, “the most beautiful royal” Lady Amelia Windsor and Lord Freddie Windsor and his wife Sophie Winkleman – best known as Big Suze on the Peep Show.

After the blessing ceremony, guests returned to St. James’s Palace for a reception at the State Apartments.

At their original wedding last year, Flora, who is 56th in line to the throne, and Timothy were married at the point where Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi were to be married.

The bride wore a classic dress by London designer Emilia Wickstead and kept the message silent for days until the couple shared a photo of their big day on Instagram.

Prince Harry won’t need encouragement to reveal everything in his memoir, says royal expert Kate Middleton, to return to work with emotional engagement after the summer break

They got engaged in 2019, when Flora posted on Instagram: “We are engaged! My beloved Timothy asked me to marry him and we are happy. “

Flora, an art consultant, is the queen’s first cousin, who has been removed twice.

She can occasionally be seen at royal events, including trooping the color and family weddings, including Lady Gabriella Windsor at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor in May 2019.

She did not attend Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding in May 2018 because the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had not invited any of the children or grandchildren of the Queen’s cousins.

Her grandmother, Princess Alexandra, is still a working member of the royal family. She is the only daughter of Prince George, Duke of Kent, and Princess Marina of Greece and Denmark.
