We often talk about nepotism and how easy it is for star kids, but that’s not always the case. Vicky Kaushal, whose father Sham Kaushal was a stunt director, never had it easy. In a recent interview, Vicky talked about his struggles and how his engineering friends bought cars and he switched buses to audition. Scroll down to read the scoop.
For those of you who don’t know, Vicky was an engineering man but followed his acting calling and we’re glad he listened to his instincts.
Vicky Kaushal starred in Film Companions Actors Adda 2021 together with Taapsee Pannu, Sanya Malhotra, Samantha Prabhu, Sidharth Malhotra and Adarsh Gourav. While answering Anupama Chopra’s question, Vicky was repeating a story that has captured hearts on the internet.
Vicky Kaushal then revealed that he was 25-26 years old when all of his engineering friends were buying houses and cars and he was taking the 33 bus “for an audition at Aram Nagar.”
He would guess if he made the wrong decision to get into the acting world and his friends would be full of car pictures.

Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal is supposed to say yes today at Six Senses Fort Barwara Katrina Kaif. Their wedding celebrations are underway, and their friends and family have also reached the respective venue.
