An elephant got out of control during a wedding ceremony after being annoyed by the sound of popping noises and destroying the ceremonial wedding scandal and parked vehicles in Uttar Pradesh (UP), India.
The incident occurred on the night of June 11 in Amlapur village, Sarai Inayat area of Prayagraj, where the groom named Anand Tripathi took an elephant from Naryanpur village to the venue.
The crack of the blasts angered the elephant and he began to destroy the ceremonial wedding scandal, save for knocking over four cars parked there.
The groom fled the crime scene after being destroyed by the elephant.
A team of forest officials and police was later called in to help control the elephant.
