  1. A Las Vegas Boy who beat brain and thyroid cancer is now helping that Southern Nevada Community that Tuesday give. Benji Sanchez is seven years old and this year has donated more than 1,300 pairs of grippy socks to children’s hospitals across the country to help prevent patients from falling. Benji helped develop socks with rainbow motifs – inspired by his motto – “Keep chasin ‘rainbows”. (News3LV)
  2. A man who threw boulders at cars was arrested Monday afternoon Clark County School Districtthe police station. Police officers patrol nearby Freedom High School and Steve Schorr Elementary School were stopped by a woman who told them someone had just thrown a boulder on their moving vehicle. Police found a trail of boulders in the pavement and saw the man “actively catapulting boulders onto vehicles,” they said. (KTNV Las Vegas)
  3. Las Vegas, the “wedding capital of the world”, is watching the emergence of the omicron COVID-19 variant with concern, just as November heralded the comeback of international flights and tourists from abroad and marked a banner Las Vegas Travel month. (FOX5 Las Vegas)
  4. Adele announces “Weekends with Adele”, an exclusive residence in Colosseum at Caesars Palace Las Vegas. The residency begins on January 21, 2022, with the global superstar performing two shows every weekend until April 16, 2022 (KTNV Las Vegas).
  5. the Mint 400, also known as “The Great American Off-Road Race”, is coming back to Las Vegas in this week. The race is the oldest and most prestigious off-road race in the country. (FOX5 Las Vegas)
