£ 40,000 gold wedding jewelry stolen from home in Winnersh

Wokingham police are chasing burglars who stole £ 40,000 gold wedding jewelry from a home.

TVP Bracknell and Wokingham said burglars broke into property on Reading Road in Winnersh between 7.15pm and 8.30pm on Saturday, March 6th.

Police said the perpetrators broke into a window in the back bedroom and ransacked the house.

About £ 40,000 worth of gold wedding jewelry was stolen. The victims, a man and a woman over the age of 30, were not injured in the break-in.

Investigator PC Victoria McNicholas of Loddon Valley Police Station said, “I appeal to everyone who was in the Reading Road area of ​​Winnersh between 7.15pm and 8.30pm on Saturday and think they saw suspicious activity to please contact the police.

“I would also approach anyone with dash cam, CCTV, or doorbell footage to check and contact the police if they saw anything that might aid this investigation.

“If you have been offered gold jewelry in the past few days and you do not know where it comes from, I would ask you to contact us as well.
