Bentley celebrates record sales amid plans to make all of its cars electric

The Americas region, with a focus on the USA, delivered 4,212 cars, an increase of 39 percent compared to the 3,035 sales in 2020.

This makes Bentley’s key region number one with a “strong performance” boosted by the introduction of the Continental GT Speed and a full year of sales of the Flying Spur.

The sale of Continental GT Speed helped increase sales in the United States, Bentley’s most important market

China was Bentley’s largest growth market for the second straight year, as sales rose 40 percent to 4,033 cars, compared to 2,880 in 2020. The company said, “The traditional four-door market sustained strong sales of the Flying Spur and Bentayga.”

Europe ended the year with 2,520 cars delivered compared to 2,193 in 2020, a 15 percent increase due to an even distribution of sales across all model lines.

UK sales continued in “consistently strong performance” as Bentley’s home market saw 1,328 cars sold – an increase of 14 percent year over year.

In 2021, 915 cars were delivered to customers in the Middle East, up from 735 in the previous year, an increase of a quarter (24 percent).

The Asia-Pacific region saw an increase of 37 percent and a record 1,651 cars delivered compared to 1,203 vehicles sold in 2021.
