Berkshire wedding venue named in the UK’s top 10 – See the full list

The car dealership has pulled together a list of the top wedding venues from across the country, ranking them from best to worst, based on five crucial factors.

The venues are scored based on their Google reviews, onsite accommodation, onsite parking, average maximum temperature as well as average monthly rainfall during the wedding season which falls between May and October.

The researchers then decided how they performed out of a total of 100 points.

Whether you’re looking for the perfect place to say ‘I Do’ or if you want to see if the spot where you tied the knot made the list, we’ve got you covered.

Here is the Berkshire wedding venue that made the UK’s top 10 and where it came on the list.

Wasing Park scored an impressive 88 points out of 100 on The Brindley Group’s index.

The stunning barn venue has an impressive 4.7 Google review score and it offers guests on-site accommodation and parking.

There is something for all types of couples whether you dream of a civil ceremony or a church wedding.

Hitched.co.uk describes the wedding spot as “secluded, sophisticated and stylish, fusing country traditions with contemporary touches.”

On top of that, the venue boasts an average maximum temperature of 19.23 degrees celsius during the wedding season as well as a fairly low average monthly fall of 51.9mm.

UK’s top 10 wedding venues

According to the Brindley Group’s ranking, Cambridgeshire’s South Farm has taken the top spot as the UK’s best wedding venue.

South Farm is followed by Oxfordshire’s Hadsham farm and Leeds Castle in Kent.

In fact, according to the index, 7 out of the top 10 venues are located in the South East.

This is due to “a mixture of well-appointed venues with high temperatures and low rainfall during wedding season,” The Brindley Group has suggested.

  3. Leeds Castle – Kent: 89 points
  4. Goodwood House – West Sussex: 89 points

  6. Caswell House – Oxfordshire: 88 points
  7. Hengrave Hall – Suffolk: 88 points
  8. Hampton Court House – Surrey: 88 points
  9. Hever Castle – Kent: 87 points
  10. Braxted Park – Essex: 87 points
