Consultant doubts capital target for electric car launch | Ireland

The four Dublin councils were advised to provide charging infrastructure for one-third fewer electric vehicles (EVs) than would be required to meet the government’s target of 936,000 such vehicles on the roads by 2030.

A draft charging strategy prepared for local authorities by Element Energy, a private consultancy firm, said there were “question marks about how attainable” [the government] Scenario is “.
