REGINA – RCMP fined $ 3,600 after officers caught three drivers in a Lamborghini, Ferrari and Aston Martin near Maple Creek.
According to a press release, RCMP officials noticed the trio of luxury cars spinning on Highway 21 south of Maple Creek on April 17.
After catching up with drivers who were driving “over 180 km / h” in a 110 km / h zone, they carried out a traffic disruption that resulted in fines totaling US $ 3,600 and all three cars were confiscated .
RCMP said one of the drivers had just taken the car out of winter storage and failed to properly register his vehicle.
“Not something you see on the Saskatchewan prairie every day,” said the RCMP.
