The Osanebis
Jan. 16 (THEWILL) — Two weekends ago, Delta state lawmaker and socialite Hon Friday Ossai Osanebi hosted a lavish wedding celebration for his brother Mathias Osanebi, who married his longtime girlfriend Amarachi Okereke. In his characteristic way, Friday made sure that Asaba and the surrounding area felt the effects of his brother’s marriage. The wedding began with Mass at St Patrick Catholic Church followed by a reception party at the Dome Events Centre, both in Asaba.
The purse, who likes to toss money like a drunken sailor, made sure his fellow purses attended the ceremony. There was a riot of private jets at Asaba Airport as each of their guests struggled to find parking for their charter flights. They didn’t disappoint with their Show of Love either. Others who made their presence felt at the wedding included captains of industry, government officials, and business moguls. People like Obinna Iyiegbu, Emeka Okonkwo, Chief Mmerigwo Henry Iyke, Ned Okonkwo, Ayiri Emami, Evangelist Micheal Diden Ejele, Ugochukwu Harvey etc. all made themselves felt at the ceremony. As a wedding present, Friday presented the new couple with a four bedroom duplex in an estate called Victoria Lestry, just outside of Victoria Garden City in Lagos. He stunned the couple and guests alike by presenting two brand new Toyota Camry sedans as souvenirs for all invited guests of the couple’s choice to thank them for attending their wedding. To delight the couple and guests, Iyanya was on hand to dole out tunes from his repertoire of songs while comedian Justice Nuagbe, aka Ushbebe, hosted the wedding reception.
