Groom Brent Vitiello will have to face his foot phobia on his wedding day

The countdown to Married At First Sight is on, and while we know the 16 singles taking on the experiment, a new promo has revealed a little more about a groom.

Brent, from New South Wales, is Hospitality Manager, overseeing business and events in Dubai.

The 33-year-old describes it as “a whole different life” in the sneak peek you can see at the top of this article.

But while Brent has conquered the world, on his wedding day he must face a terrible thing: feet.

“Now he’s going to face his greatest fear from head to toe,” teases the off-voice.

Brent explains that feet “freak me out completely” while showing shots of the brides slipping their feet into heels.

“It’s more of a phobia than something I just don’t like,” he continues.

Will he be able to look his best and deal with the fact that at some point in their relationship he will have to face his new bride’s bare feet?

At the end of the aisle, Brent is clearly tense and trying to cheer himself up by repeating “don’t look down” as his bride arrives next to him.

“I’m not going to lie, I was looking down,” he told the cameras after the wedding.

Will he be able to overcome his phobia? (Nine)

Feet could prove to be a huge dealbreaker for Brent, with a clip of him practically falling out of bed to get away from his wife, who playfully digs her toes in his face.

“I’m not going to rub my wife’s feet, not now, never,” he declares at the end of the promo.

Brent’s life in Dubai, where he worked in hospitality, earned him accolades, lived in luxury, fancy cars and even mingled with celebrities like Will Smith.
