Pregnant Lauren Brant shares details of her impromptu wedding with Barry Hall – and reveals that her terminally ill sister-in-law’s idea was to keep her on her “last outing.”
Laurent Brant shared brand new details about her secret wedding to Barry Hall in a long Instagram post.
The pregnant Hi-5 star, 32, and the former AFL player, 44, tied the knot in an impromptu ceremony on February 17th – prompted by a suggestion from her dying sister-in-law Sandy.
Lauren uploaded footage taken while they were driving to the wedding ceremony and wrote on Instagram, “Sandy suggested we all go to the [sunflower] Fields for a “wedding” there, so we did that, ”wrote the mother of two.

“As a sunflower lover, Sandy planned to go to the fields with her family that day as her last family outing,” Lauren continued.
‘Sandy asked Tyron and her daughter Allegra to go home to pick one of her rings for the’ engagement ‘and get her a dress to wear. Even though we were all wearing the incongruous clothes we woke up in, Sandy was determined to dress for the occasion, her final “occasion”.
“Her son Connor stayed with her to help her shower and brush her hair. I [texted] The celebrant went to the Sunflowers & Barry and I went to my parents where our boys were. ‘

“We shared the engagement and wedding news with mom and dad and then with FaceTimed my other two brothers and my sister-in-law. Everyone was surprised – but for them it was totally understandable and everyone made themselves available.
“We told everyone to just jump into their cars, whatever they wear and in a convoy of 6 vehicles the wedding party headed for the sunflowers in the pouring rain!”

Right before we left the hospital I called @ farm.and.co where the sunflowers were – to let them know what had just happened and what was about to happen and I think I have them in mine more than anything ‘Million’ confused confused miles per hour ‘explanation.’
“Fortunately, EJ got there before us and set up the scene. The cafe had just closed for the day so we could use that for the ceremony and stay out of the rain. ‘
