Instead of a typical white car, a couple decided to use the famous UP Ikot Jeep as their bridal car on their wedding day.
Bride Sharmaine thought the UP Ikot Jeep would be a perfect vehicle for her Filipino wedding.
In an episode of IRL, they showed how they refined the jeepney with flowers and white curtains to give it the bridal vehicle.
Sharmaine said she also regularly drove the UP Ikot Jeep while she was still studying on campus.
The couple said it also helped the driver of the jeep financially as they had not made trips within UP Diliman due to the pandemic.
In the meantime, another couple decided to use the bride’s father’s tricycle as their bride’s vehicle.
The bride, Kareeza, said the tricycle was special to her because it belonged to her father and it supported her family.
They upgraded the look of the tricycle to make it look like a bridal vehicle, Kareeza said. It was also her way of thanking her father. – Jannielyn Ann Bigtas / LA, GMA News
