Manchester United legend David Beckham took on the role of best man at his father’s glamorous wedding ceremony in London over the weekend.
Ted Beckham, 73, tied the knot with multi-million dollar lawyer Hilary Meredith yesterday (December 11th) at a “little private ceremony” with David, his wife Victoria, a fashion titan and three of their four children.
The Mirror reports that the family headed for the ceremony, which took place in a row of blacked-out cars in historic Temple, part of London’s lawyer district, on Saturday afternoon.

The Old Trafford fan favorite was accompanied by his sister Louise, who arrived just before Romeo – son of the former English skipper who brought his girlfriend Mia Regan with him.
A spokesman told the Manchester Evening News: “Ted and Hilary Beckham wish to confirm they were married on Saturday in a small private ceremony in London with their immediate families, including Ted’s three children and 8 grandchildren, Hilary’s mother and daughter Charlotte.
“The best man was Ted’s son David. Bridesmaids Charlotte, Francesca and Harper looked beautiful in blue velvet dresses.
“The couple is currently honeymooning out of the country.”
Iconic daughter Harper and youngest son Cruz were also in attendance, although eldest son Brooklyn spends most of his time in the United States.
The entire Beckham family tends to split their time between the UK and the US, although with David, the owner of MLS team Inter Miami, most of their time across the pond is spent doing the operations for the newly formed Monitor club.
Ted separated from David’s mother, Sandra, in 2002 after 33 years of marriage, a move that strained his relationship with David, according to his autobiography.
However, the two reconciled after Ted suffered a heart attack five years later in 2007.
