SsangYong Motors UK has partnered with EO Charging to offer preferential pricing for installing a home charger.
Buyers of the South Korean company’s Korando e-Motion electric vehicle will receive a discount on 7 kW smart chargers and their installation.
This means that factoring in the Government’s OZEV Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS) grant of £350, the EO Mini Pro 7kW home charger costs from £595 versus the RRP of £945.

The charger has intelligent functions managed via the EO Smart Home app, which allows you to charge for cheaper times of the day, e.g. B. overnight, can plan.
An optional feature is offered that can securely handle electrical loads, while a lock ensures no one but the owner can plug in.
SsangYong customers get a seven-year warranty on their charger, matching the warranty offered for the vehicle, while EO offers 24/7 support.

The SsangYong Korando e-Motion was launched in the UK this month, with the SUV offering a range of 210 miles and a starting price of £30,495 including the government’s plug-in car grant.
Its performance puts it on par with similarly priced competitors from established manufacturers like the Mazda MX-30 and Hyundai Kona. It’s also closely aligned with the MG ZS EV, another affordability-focused EV.
All SsangYong vehicle buyers can now also get a 12-month free RAC roadside assistance membership.
