But that was the highlight on Saturday for the guests at Lena Dunham’s secret wedding, because superstar Taylor Swift was the surprise guest and she gave a speech for the newlyweds.

I can reveal that the US actress Lena, who is best known for her sitcom girls, married the English-Peruvian musician Luis Felber in the private club Union Club in Soho, London.
A source at the wedding said, “Taylor showed up for Lena and gave a really cute speech to celebrate and congratulate them as a couple.
“Lena looked so happy that she was there. Obviously Taylor has a crazy schedule and it’s not normal for her to just go to Soho so she was thrilled that she took the time to come.
“There weren’t too many people because the couple wanted to keep the wedding quiet, especially since Taylor was there. Security was tight.
“The venue is surrounded by a lot of nightclubs – and across from a Wetherspoons – so it was just weird to know that a lot of people nearby were probably dancing to their music with no idea that one of the biggest stars in the world had a knee up near.”

Lena only announced in April that she was dating Luis when she said they had been together for “a few months”.
She moves quickly so that the aisle is already behind her.
Taylor has been dating her boyfriend, British actor Joe Alwyn, for five years.
Maybe their mate’s wedding gave them ideas of their own.

Fresh meat star Zawe moved from Kent to London to live with Tom and moved to Atlanta, Georgia to be with him last year when he was filming the Disney + series Loki.
He had a whirlwind romance with Taylor in 2016 before they started dating their current partners.

I can reveal that the Spandau ballet star has recorded new music above in the last 12 months, which could lead to his first solo album.
He had a number of hits with melodies like True and Gold in the eighties as part of the Spandau Ballet.
A source teased, “Martin has a lot of songs but isn’t quite sure what to do with them.
“When the restrictions eased, he was back in the studio.
“One of the people he recorded with was supposed to be on tour with Niall Horan, but because of the pandemic, he was canceled.
“Now Martin is trying to decide whether he will go alone with the record or join forces with others.”
Martin and his wife Shirlies’ 2019 album In The Swing Of It peaked at number 12.
Hopefully his next try will do better than brother Gary’s last album, Insolo, which didn’t crack the top 40 in July.

The Isle of Wight Festival yesterday announced a series of acts that will be performing there next June – with a pathetic total of three female performers.
It’s 2021, the organizers could certainly be a little more balanced and imaginative when putting their events together?
All nine headliners are men, including Lewis Capaldi and Lionel Richie, while of the other ten acts announced, the only women are Sigrid and Mavis Staples, while Jacqui Abbott will perform with Paul Heaton.
Lots of women are worth headlining, like Dua Lipa or Kylie Minogue, let alone appearing elsewhere in the line-up.
It is a sad state of affairs when such things have to be invoked in this day and age.

Tickets for the ten additional stadium shows in the UK and Ireland will go on sale today at 9am.
New additions for next spring include three additional shows in the Republic of Ireland as well as in Belfast, Cardiff and Sunderland.
These are the two additional shows Ed announced at both Manchester’s Etihad Stadium and Wembley Stadium.
Craig’s Aston villain gag
DANIEL CRAIG jokingly branded Aston Martin as “B ****** s” because he hadn’t given it a free engine after its last use as 007.
Daniel, who will be seen at the world premiere of No Time To Die at London’s Royal Albert Hall tonight, was asked if he would have kept one of the cars. He replied, “You won’t let me take a car … bastards.”
He also claimed he was searched while leaving the set to prevent him from stealing props.
Daniel said, “I keep getting asked what memorabilia I have, they think I’m a kleptomaniac.”
He also teased fans of the films by saying, “I didn’t have a lot of devices in my films. People say, ‘Where are all the devices?’ but we have a few more in this new movie. The Aston DB5 is the ultimate gadget. “
