The world of super sports cars is absolutely brimming with choices at the moment. That sounds strange when you consider that supercars are supposed to be very expensive and exclusive machines, but it’s true. There are so many options for those rich enough to buy a supercar right now, it can be pretty hard to decide where all of your millions to go. However, hidden beneath all the choices is one or two fantastic highlights that should be at the top of everyone’s shopping list.
In the last decade in particular, there have been some pretty incredible things Supercar come from the likes of McLaren, Ford and Ferrari. Machines that few of us could ever dream of, but machines that we can all drool. What we’ve tried here is to make a list of the 10 supercars that really stand out from the crowd in terms of looks, power, and performance, and make them some of the best supercars we’ve seen in the 2010s.

McLaren 650S
by bus
McLaren has been absolutely there for the last few years when it comes to building amazing supercars. The 650S has to be one of the best the brand has created.
via Top Gear
It is powered by the same M838T V8 engine found in the MP4-12C, but it has 641 horsepower and was also developed as a Spider version with McLaren Special Operations which also created 50 exclusive versions.

Ford GT
via CNN
While the first rebirth of the Ford GT40 in the mid-2000s could be seen as a bit flat, it wasn’t for the latest Ford GT. Driven by a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine with 647 hp, the GT has developed into a classic in a very short time.

While it was built for the track, it’s just as good on the road and of course the car won the Le Mans 24 Hours too.

Bugatti Chiron
about Bugatti
When Bugatti launched the Veyron, you’d think that the brand’s 250 mph supercar monster could never be beaten. Remarkably, it could be. Then came the Chiron, which put the Veyron in the shade.
via Robb Report
An 8.0 liter W16 engine puts out around 1,500 horsepower and propels the Chiron to a top speed of 261 mph, which means that’s a considerable increase over the top speed of the Veyron.

Lexus LFA
via Secret Classics
Lexus building a supercar may seem like a bit of an odd concept, given that they’re more known for luxury cars, of course. But the LFA stands out among them as a fantastic supercar and one of Lexus’ best vehicles. Under the hood, the LFA packs a mighty 4.8-liter V10 engine with 560 horsepower and a top speed of 201 mph and a 0-60 time of 3.5 seconds.

Plus, with the usual Lexus luxury and a splendid soundtrack, the LFA has become a classic supercar of all time.

McLaren Senna
via Auto Express
A car named after the legendary Formula 1 world champion Ayrton Senna will have to meet some high expectations. Fortunately for McLaren, the Senna does just that. The Senna is powered by a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 that makes 789 horsepower, and the car has an insane 0-62 time of just 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 2011 mph.

The Senna lives up to its name on the track and is still one of the best-handling vehicles from McLaren.

Ferrari 599 GTO
across the road and across the road
While not every car they have produced in the past decade has been a winner, this list would not be complete without at least one Ferrari. The 599 GTO has a 661bhp V12 engine, but what makes it so good is that it really is a supercar that can be driven on the road.
via Supercar World
It’s fast, looks good, but is comfortable and reasonably practical. This is really a great Ferrari.

Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce
via Robb Report
When you have a car as fast and powerful as the Murcielago, how do you make it faster? Simple. You will lose around 200 lbs in weight! Even lighter than the LP 640, the ‘670-4 SuperVeloce has a deafening 6.5-liter V12 under the hood with 670 horsepower, paired with a chassis 100% designed to be thrown around Imola or Monza .
about CAR Mazazgine
This is an extraordinary handling car with the speed that comes with it that makes it one of the most spectacular machines of the angry bull to this day.
3
Aston Martin One-77
via Top Gear
Although the Aston Martin One-77 was basically a concept car, it’s still worth a spot on this list of supercars. Only 77 of these were ever built and it was powered by a modified DB9 engine, a 7.3 liter V12 engine tuned to produce a very powerful 750 horsepower.
via Car Buzz
The car has won multiple awards for its incredible design, including the Concorso d’Eleganza Design Award for concept cars and prototypes.

Hennessey Gift GT
via Wikipedia
Hennessey knows a thing or two when it comes to upgrading various cars, but it turns out they also know a thing or two when it comes to building a full-fledged supercar. The Venom GT is powered by the Chevrolet LS2 V8 engine and built into a chassis borrowed from the Lotus Elise.
via Hennessey Performance
Only 30 have ever been produced, and this 1,200-horsepower monster can roar up to 270 mph, making it one of the fastest supercars in the world.

Königsegg Agera
about SuperVettura
There was a time when Koenigsegg was a rather obscure car company that not many people had ever heard of.
via Tom Hartley
Today, however, they make some of the best supercars in the world, including the Agera. The company’s V8 is hidden beneath a stunning exterior which belies the fact that this car is a 910 hp Leviathan.
