The anger of the neighbors, as a wedding celebration turned the street into a “war zone”, with convoys of super sports cars and roaring music for FOUR DAYS

A “wedding party” turned a street into a “war zone” with convoys of super sports cars and roaring music for FOUR DAYS.

Neighbors were furious at the riots when Porsches and Lamborghinis lined the streets in Telford, Shropshire last weekend.

Music is supposed to boom until 3 a.m. – with fireworks and colored smoke cannons that are ignited when the police are called.

Pictures of the riots show large crowds in suits, surrounded by the sports cars, as they allegedly celebrated a wedding that was canceled due to Covid.

An angry local resident said the street felt like a “war zone” as the non-stop celebrations continued.

It was believed to have started on Friday June 25th and lasted until the following Monday evening.

On Twitter, a local wrote: “It was heard all over Telford so I’m not sure more than one place triggered it, but the ones on my street felt like a war zone.

“They did that on Friday too. A weekend full of wedding celebrations. It was quite irritating for us neighbors because we had music at 3 o’clock in the morning!”

A local neighborhood watch group in Arleston tweeted, “Absolutely angry that fireworks are still going off at this time of night.

“So many residents had to put up with it in the last four nights, that’s not fair at all.

“Wedding or no wedding, this is not a good time to set off fireworks.”

FAST & FURIOUS

Another resident wrote on Facebook: “An insane number of cars were parked on the sidelines, on paths, in the bus stop and right on the street.

“A number of sports models also blocked the road.

“I reported it to the police at the request of one of the older guests. That was very worrying.

“The drivers struggled to get through and the affected guests seemed reluctant to move their cars.

“A man stuck in a traffic jam was on his way to the hospital.”

West Mercia Police confirmed that reports of anti-social behavior related to the gathering were “taken very seriously”.

Insp. Mike Phillips of the North Telford Safer Neighborhood Team said: “We received reports of unsocial behavior and dangerous driving in and around Arleston and Leegomery over the weekend.

“We recognize that those responsible have shown very little respect for their neighbors and the wider community.

“I want to reassure the public that all reports of antisocial behavior and dangerous driving will be taken extremely seriously.

“Safer Neighborhood Team officials will be in touch with those who reported these incidents to us and we will be reviewing dashcam footage as part of the investigation.

“I want to thank the public for their continued support and encourage anyone with footage of the incident to submit it to us through the Operation Snap page on the West Mercia Police Department website.

“We will continue to work with local authorities to deal with criminals appropriately.”
