The autumn edition of the biannual auto show starts at Thremhall Park near Bishop’s Stortford

Pistons at the Park, the bi-annual motor show near Bishop’s Stortford, returns this Sunday (September 26th) for their fall getaway.

The free family event is organized and hosted by Mantle Business Centers at its headquarters in Thremhall Park in the shadow of the M11 and Stansted Airport. It runs from 10.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.

The popular showcase on the historic 12-acre park has been held twice a year since it launched in 2011, with the exception of last year when the events were canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic in accordance with government guidelines.

Pistons at the Park at Thremhall Park will be held in support of the charity Accuro (51408475) selected by Mantle Business Centers.

Pistons at the Park has always attracted a slew of the best of modern and new supercars, luxury cars, and classic vehicles – and the Sunday event will be no exception.

Owners must register to showcase their car by visiting mantlebusinesscentres.co.uk/pistonsatthepark. If you have any questions about registration, please call 01279 874314. There are separate parking spaces for spectators who do not have to register.

The Coffee Shop in Thremhall Park will be open for refreshments, breakfast rolls and snacks and will serve grilled dishes until 1.30pm.

The event will support Mantles’ nominated charity Accuro, which is based about a mile away in Start Hill and provides special services for children, youth and adults with a disability across West Essex.

These services in Saffron Walden, Great Dunmow, Harlow, Epping, and Loughton enable Accuro members to participate in a variety of social and recreational opportunities that help reduce social isolation, build trust, and promote independence.

Sarah, the mother of Accuro member William, says, “William’s Accuro Club is a unique environment where the children can just be themselves and the staff cares for and takes each child’s needs into account. As a parent, I’m very excited to see this and think it’s a fantastic resource for my child and I just don’t have to worry about them while they’re there. “
